Need an Official Docket or Record?
Route the request by court division. Otsego County’s three courts share administrative features, but Circuit, District, and Probate records have different custodians. The county’s Courts overview and the 46th Circuit contacts page are official starting points for office information.
- 46th Circuit Court records and docket questions: Susan I. DeFeyter, Otsego County Clerk / Circuit Court Clerk, Downtown County Building, 225 W. Main Street, Gaylord, MI 49735. Telephone: 989-731-7500. County court hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- 87-A District Court cases: traffic, misdemeanors, small claims, many District civil matters, and related docket questions go to the Alpine Center, 800 Livingston Boulevard, Suite 1-C, Gaylord, MI 49735. General telephone: 989-731-0201.
- 87-A District clerk routing: Pam Payne is listed as District Court Clerk/Supervisor/Magistrate. The district clerk’s direct public number is 989-731-0223.
- Probate Court records: Otsego County Probate Court uses the Alpine Center address. Carmen Parker is listed as Probate Register. Probate telephone: 989-731-0204.
- Case and calendar searches: use MiCOURT Case Search for the 46th Circuit route, and the county’s Case Lookup page for the official local 87-A route.
For an in-person record request, bring the court division, complete case number, public caption if known, document type, and date range. A public case index may help locate those details, but the correct clerk controls the official file. The Circuit 46 site notes intermittent incoming-call trouble; if a call fails, retry the official route or visit the correct court counter.
Otsego County’s public lookup does not show warrant status. The county directs warrant-status questions to the 87-A District Court general number during court hours. Nonpublic cases cannot be acknowledged by phone or mail except to authorized people appearing in person, so a public search result is not a substitute for the access process.
